Recipe: Gluten Free Banana Bread

I often see people discussing ways to incorporate more gluten  free (GF) products into their lifestyle.  While eating GF pasta is probably the easiest step, there are plenty of baking options sprouting up on regular grocery store shelves too.

Take, for example, the Gluten Free Banana Bread Blend at the Bulk Barn.  An affordable, simple to make mixture.  The final product was decent (Derek thinks one more banana would have been ideal, and I would have added more vanilla), and the kids did not complain (thunbs up in my books).  An added bonus is doggie approval.  After taking photos and handing out slices to Derek, Duncan, Pierce and myself, I left the bread to cool on the counter.  Turns out Dicey (our Greyhound) sniffed out the baked goods, and promptly devoured the remaining half a loaf.  Sigh…

The Gluten Free Banana Bread Blend can be found at the Canadian Bulk Barn stores, in the Gluten Free section.  Happy Baking!
